What SPRCL Does

South Peace Rural Community Learning (SPRCL) is a non-profit association dedicated to providing and facilitating affordable, accessible learning opportunities for adults throughout the rural Central and South Peace regions of Alberta. SPRCL offers a variety of non-credit courses, workshops, programs, and educational supports that respond to the needs and interests of adult learners in an approximately 18,000-square-kilometre service area.

Our service area includes the County of Grande Prairie, Saddle Hills County, and the Municipal District of Spirit River, as well as the communities of Beaverlodge, Hythe, Wembley, Sexsmith, Clairmont, La Glace, Grovedale, Spirit River, Rycroft, and surrounding rural areas.

Our goal is to make lifelong learning accessible to everyone by creating welcoming opportunities for adults to build skills, gain confidence, connect with their communities, and achieve their personal, educational, and employment goals.
