What SPRCL Does

South Peace Rural Community Learning is a non-profit association that provides non-credit courses, workshops, and learning opportunities to rural adults in the Counties of Grande Prairie. Saddle Hills, Birch Hills and M.D. of Spirit River including communities of Beaverlodge, Hythe, Wembley, Sexsmith, Clairmont, La Glace, Spirit River, Rycroft and others.

Adult  Literacy Programs

We provide free tutoring and programs for adults, as well as promoting and increasing access to adult learning opportunities in reading, writing, math, English Language Learning and so much more for the adult learner.

We also provide parents and caregivers of children with information, ideas and courses that will help them foster their children’s literacy and language development.

Central Peace Literacy Coordinator - Tabitha

Based in Rycroft we provide, promote and increase access to adult learning opportunities in the Central Peace Region including programs in reading, writing, mathematics, skills for learning, digital skills, English Language Learning, family literacy and Community Building programs such as GED prep, 1st Aid and Canadian Firearm Safety Courses.
