Welcome to South Peace Rural Community Learning (SPRCL)!

South Peace Rural Community Learning Association (SPRCL) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing and facilitating affordable, accessible learning opportunities that respond to the needs and interests of adults throughout the Rural Central and South Peace Regions of Alberta.

Whether you are looking to improve your literacy, develop workplace skills, build confidence with technology, strengthen your parenting skills, or simply learn something new, SPRCL offers a variety of courses, workshops, and programs for adults of all ages and learning levels.

We also provide Family Literacy programs, free adult tutoring, English Language Learning opportunities, resume and cover letter assistance, digital support, and preparation for the Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC). Our goal is to make learning welcoming, practical, and accessible to everyone in our rural communities.

Get Involved – Join Our Volunteer Board!

Do you care about your community and believe in the importance of lifelong learning? We are always looking for enthusiastic community-minded individuals who would like to make a difference by joining the SPRCL volunteer Board of Directors.

Being part of our board is an opportunity to:

  • Help shape the future of adult learning in our rural communities.

  • Share your ideas, experiences, and perspectives.

  • Support accessible learning opportunities for adults and families.

  • Help strengthen and grow programs throughout our service area.

  • Connect with others who are passionate about community development and lifelong learning.

You don’t need experience in adult education to make a difference! We welcome fresh perspectives, new ideas, and individuals who want to see their communities thrive.

If you are interested in becoming involved, learning more about our organization, or joining our volunteer board, we would love to hear from you!
